[edit] The WMB Protocol
Wireless Multiboot (WMB) is the process of downloading, over a wireless connection, a demo or application from one DS to another.
The DS hosting the download acts as an Access Point. This DS sends out beacon frames describing the available download. A client DS must authenticate itself and associate with the host DS AP before the WMB process can proceed. At this point the host DS sends the download to the client using the WMB protocol.
The wireless frame format is as described in the IEEE802.11 standards. The DS uses short preamble.
Authentication and association are close to the IEEE802.11 only deviating by missing some parameters.
