The first NoPass was released by Datel. Later, other NoPass devices appeared like Passcard 3 by M3 and SuperKey by Supercard.

NoPass devices function like real DS cards as opposed to PassME which only modifies the header of an attached DS card. NoPass actually implements the necessary protocol and encryption which DS uses. In other words, a NoPass looks like a regular game to the DS making this booting approach essentially future-proof. NoPass contains a small program that boots anything inserted in the GBA slot.

Unless otherwise listed, all NoPass devices are compatible with all GBA-slot flashcarts.
