Welcome Message

From Dev-Scene

Hello,

This is MrShlee from #DSDEV. For the last few weeks I've been actively discussing with a number of developers the creation of a Central Hub for DS homebrew. Dev-Scene.com is the result that has been built over the last month by arog, Dovoto and I myself. This project is public and still in very active development.

Dev-Scene is

  • Dev-Scene portals are dedicated to homebrew releases and development.
  • Dev-Scene News is managed and edited by developers - to keep the news up-to-date.
  • Dev-Scene Forum Forum for NDS developers and end-users.
  • Dev-Scene Homebrew Catalog The first and only complete catalog of DS homebrew projects.
  • Dev-Scene Library A local mirror of many homebrew binaries and source code releases.
  • Planet Dev-Scene Flexible feed aggregator - check it out :)
  • Dev-Scene Blogs now available with 50MB uploads!

Please join us and help the Dev-Scene project... by improving/updating the pages about your projects and keeping them updated. The wiki requires an active account on our forum, The two are integrated tightly together. So create an account on the forum then you'll be able to contribute to the wiki :)

We've created a draft/base for most of the games/applications and tech demos we could find. Dev-Scene will also allow users and developers to discuss issues, review your software and let you reply back to the comments using the discussion tab. If I’m missing an application, look how we’ve set the pages up and help us grow by including it yourself or make a note of it in the discussions tab.

The Developers portals are dedicated to all developer related information. If you have something you can contribute to the page you're more than welcome to do so. Any tuts/guides/write-ups/hints would be greatly appreciated :)

Please browse the pages and e-mail me if we are missing any information or if you spot some erroneous data that you want us to correct. But since Dev-Scene works with a living wiki-system, you are also personally invited to correct the problem and help us build up this already great and wonderful resource.

Thank you, Ashley "Shlee" Hull

P.S. You are welcome to join us at #Dev-Scene on irc.blitzed.org! ;)
