Media Carts are devices that load homebrew games & applications directly from CompactFlash or Secure Digital cards. Recommend for homebrew as Media carts are Cheaper and more compatible alternatives to GBA Flashcards.

GBA Flash Carts

Flash Cards allow you to run homebrew code as they contain fast NOR (or RAM) allowing the homebrew game & application to be executed straight from storage. The drawback is that NOR flash chips are very expensive.
