NDS/Supercard
From Dev-Scene
Supercard is a flash media interface similiar to the GBA Movie Player. Unlike the GBAMP and some other solutions, the Supercard was designed specifically for homebrew use. It does not have many of the features the other cards include built in, such as movie/music playback, but instead relies on homebrew solutions to implement these features.

[edit] Versions
You have a few Supercard versions that you can choose from. The main difference is the type of memory that goes into the memoryslot. Also, the bigger the memory the, bigger the card. If you care about it enough, you might want to buy the one that fits exactly into your DS.

[edit] Bundled Software
The Supercard's firmware includes emulators for the following systems:
- NES
- GB (original)
- PC Engine
- SMS/GG
A version of the MoonShell media player software is also included on a disk and availible on the Supercard site. However, the standard Moonshell should work with most, if not all versions of the Supercard.
The Supercard also includes conversion/organizing software for the PC, however, this is generally NOT needed for homebrew (GBA or DS). If you want to use any homebrew which uses SRAM (GBA or DS), use the QPC saving method.
[edit] Compatibilty
Both the SD and CF based versions are able to run most homebrew apps. Specifically both versions are supported by Chishm's FatLib for both read/write operations, however the SD cards are currently slower due to being limited by an 8bit transfer.
[edit] Supercard Rumble
Don't get the supercard rumble! It lacks the built in RAM, no GBA support, and lower DS support. The only advantage is that it costs a bit less.
